The Up North Rollaz Brass Band pays homage to the second line music of New Orleans. The group, led by trombonist Ben Collicott, began with a handful of Michigan Tech alumni, and has since grown to include musicians with varying backgrounds across the Twin Cities’ music community. With reverence to all aspects of New Orleans’ brass band culture, the Up North Rollaz present an exciting performance rarely seen outside of the Crescent City.
